10 years of fun and knowledge so far!

International Summer Language Camps for children are held in summer on different locations in Slovenia: in Prevorje – Kozjansko region and at Rogla. The camps last from 6 to 8 days and are intended for children between 5 and 15 years of age.

We accept a maximum of 15 children per single camp. The children are guided and supervised by 3 experienced and creative animators and language teachers who know how to make the country life and love of language even more interesting for children. Children at camps are treated individually and divided into different language groups. Through a series of activities at conducted workshops children learn a lot of new things and at the same time they learn languages ​​in a very authentic, relaxing and entertaining way (according to the CLIL method). They practice the use of everyday language, expand vocabulary and develop their communication skills. The methods of work are age appropriate and include singing, playing games, role-playing dialogues, drawing posters, writing essays and stories, dramatization, filming a movie in a foreign language, etc. Children experience nature with all their senses, without the use of electronic devices and TV-sets.

Children can learn English, German, Spanish, Russian and/or Italian while in the camps whereas children from abroad or from our neighboring countries can learn Slovenian. Above all, they learn to communicate in a foreign language in various everyday situations, meet Slovenian countryside and make contacts and friendships with their peers from Slovenia and abroad.

The main emphasis is given to building every individual child’s self-esteem when communicating in a foreign language and to international integration.
